The endpoint
/api/v1/posts/create
receives a param named authorID

Posting on behalf of users is now live! Thank you for helping us improve Canny.
When creating a new post in Canny, you'll see a field where you can specify who the feedback is coming from (defaults to yourself if left blank).
When published, you'll see the post author is the selected user as well as a note about which admin created the post.

It would be nice to have a visual cue on the public side to show that a post was created by an admin on behalf of a user. Something subtle and nice to avoid us having to write "requested by user", etc.

We want to be able to add the user as the post author when creating on their behalf. It's odd if all of the posts and coming from myself and we tend to just cut and paste from the support ticket.

This would be great! Especially with the Intercom integration as all our user ideas are attributed against our name as staff, people might start to think we only put in our own ideas to Canny. 😂
