I think that this functionnality is way too important to only be available in paying plans. I understand the costs and the need of paying users but you have to allow language changes for free users too, because otherwise your free version is USELESS for all the users who want to start for free and who are in non-english-speaking markets !
So you are probably loosing many potential customers (myself included ...)

Hi everyone!
We are currently beta testing language translations and French is one of the first languages we're testing. Currently, we are only translating user-generated content, but there's more to come! We have full details available here.
Please start a chat or

Maryse from Zeffy: My apologies, this feature is only available on the Starter, Growth, or Business tiers. You can update your plan from the Billing page in your general settings. Just reply here and I'll be happy to enable that beta access!

Hello everyone, a Canny collaborator finally began reviewing the main internationalization ticket : https://feedback.canny.io/feature-requests/p/translate-into-different-languages
Please go add your thoughts to show that this is a big problem for us !

Hello, i would also like to say that you have a great product and that having translations in canny would be really awesome and will probably bring you new clients that are waiting for translation like me, because we can't use canny for the moment because we need french language (maybe other languages too if we were to have users in other countries that do not speak french after) Please work on this. Thank you !

Another point which should be taken into account is that reading the English UI as a French user is doable. But listening to a french screen reader (for low-vision or blind users) that is vocalizing English UI is a nightmare. Canny's accessibility is quite good, although far from perfect, but in any language other than english, it is unusable.

Hi, French is necessary for our users. It's impossible to have English for our image.

Hi
I dont think you need to translate all of the UI. Just translating "give feedback" and the labels ("under review...") would be a great improvement and prevent some users to step back when they land on canny.
We'll try the solution as it is for our French audience but I doubt they'll feel comfortable with the whole english thing
Thanks

Hi guys,
I think the lack of internationalization seriously limits the interest of your product outside English natives countries.
Many people out there are not comfortable with an English UI (will they think they have to write in English?). Moreover, it would feels weird to me to add an English only feedback portal to my product when the rest of it is in French only (because all my users are French) or already localized into several languages (why the feedback portal wouldn't be then).
I agree with what's been said 2 years ago: it's not a big deal if the admin is in English only. But the user facing UI should be translated, as my users won't let feedback in English.

I also can contribute.
Translations are always difficult to deal with but you don't have to translate everything in a first place. You can bring the public interface in French and let administration panel and emailing in English per example, which isn't a big deal in general.

I can contribute too to the translation. :)
Cheers.
