Integrations

We use Todoist as a project management tool (just as others use Jira etc). It would be great to integrate Todoist with Canny directly, without the need for 3rd party tools, because that would cut costs and also because Todoist is widely-used not just for private individuals, but also more and more among teams. This integration would make Canny more attractive, even to voluntarily pay for the platform.

So if been working around 40 min, no autosave happend and only limited steps to go back with control z. I know you had the approach to autosave and make command + s obsolete, but this is not working great. Saving a version to history, then is to cumbersome. There should be a command + s, that just adds a dave to the version history.

MCP Server currently supports actions like list_ideas, list_groups, etc., but it doesn’t include a way to list companies. It would be really helpful to add a list_companies action so we can pull a list of companies (including id and name) and map company names to companyIDs on our side, without needing to use an API key. This would make it much easier to build workflows that group or sort feature requests by the company that upvoted them.

We use notion for dev planning (like jira/trello) - would be helpful to be able to push a bug report or feature request to Notion (where it would create a document)

A lot of our requests are high-level initiatives that live in our Monday.com roadmap. Our Jira integration is helpful for micro use-cases but not these. It would be great to have an integration where Canny posts can link to Jira. Monday.com is blowing up (in a good way) as a product so I'd expect significantly more of these.

I would like Canny to integrate with the Product Discovery module in Jira. We want to use Product Discovery to assist us with Backlog and Product Discovery, and we need a bridge between Canny and Jira to support this.

We need an integration with Pylon to streamline our workflow and ensure seamless data transfer between our tools. This integration is crucial for our operations.

We use GitLab for product development, would be great to copy upvoted posts as tasks

At present, during the weekly sync of Zendesk users into Canny, Canny can hit the rate limit for certain Zendesk API limits if there are a lot of users synced. This is especially prevalent for customers using a less costly tiered instance of Zendesk. This results in emails being sent by Zendesk support and potentially impacts other applications using the API. In future we could alter our integration to ensure adequate amounts of the rate limit are reserved for other applications.
