Link one or more Trello cards to a Canny post.
- Connect one or more board to each Canny board. Trello card is private on Canny.
- Bonus if Canny could auto-suggest Trello cards from those boards to connect
Create Trello card from Canny:
- Manually create cards from Canny and setup rule to create when "Status" is updated. Eg., updated to "Under Review"
On Trello card:
- Change status of Canny post via Trello card
- Change status of Canny post using Trello's Butler automation when moved to a specific list. Eg., When Trello card moved to "Done" then update Canny post to "Completed". Edge case: Trello card accidentally moved.
To consider:
- When Canny posts are merged with one another

Like others have said, we use Trello to manage our pipeline and constantly link to Canny cards. It's easy to get out of sync and forget about cards on Canny. Having the ability to export all of our planned cards to Trello either automatically or manually would be a huge help.

How we export our canny content and import it into trello?
Andrew Rasmussen
Long Marten: Hey David, you can export your data via CSV in your board settings or via our API.

Trello integration

It would be massively beneficial for us to be able to integrate Canny with Trello. We use Trello to manage our production pipeline, especially when it comes to bugs and features, so to be able to map a Canny request to a Trello card, that shows the number of votes on the card, would automate our internal process and increase productivity tenfold.

Would be handy if there was a easy or automatic way to turn Canny posts into Trello cards.
Andrew Rasmussen
Kumquat Swordtail: Hey Abram! Other customers have set this up via our Zapier integration, but agreed that we could make this even easier. Thanks for chiming in.

Andrew Rasmussen: I didn't even think about that! I will give it a go, thanks.
