I'm also looking for a way to import Canny feedback en masse into ProductBoard without spamming ProductBoard with tiny items like comments that we then have to Manage.
Since ProductBoard insists (😡) that all Insight Notes come from ONE user and point to MANY features, and Canny is one-feature-to-many-users, this is an interesting challenge. I'm thinking that one workaround would be to import all feedback from a given user as a single Insight note. We could then map their requests to features.
It gets more complicated when it comes to comments; if we did this for everyone, then a feature with 10 comments would end up in ProductBoard having 10 identical Insights notes attributed to 10 different users.
And then there's upvotes. <sigh>

I feel like as soon as product management migrates an item from Canny into Productboard that they will lose connection with the community conversation -- comments, upvotes, merges. I'd really like to avoid this.

we would love this too. I would imagine something like being able to connect PB entries to requests here so the roadmap is synced or so :)

Hey William, thanks for posting. I agree that an integration with Productboard might make sense. Not 100% sure how it'd work yet, but will reach out when we start thinking about it.
