Add a privacy setting so that user comments can only be seen by the team, not other users.

Hey everyone!
We've just shipped this feature with our latest release. Organizations on the growth plans and higher can now disable the "Allow end-users to see each others' comments" toggle to make comments private. You can find the new toggle in your "board settings" in the "general" section.
Let us know if you find any issues or concerns with this new feature, otherwise, enjoy!

Hey all! This work has been kicked off and we're looking to introduce private comments, in the near future.

This would be a great feature for our team. We would like the ability for our support team to be able to add internal comments, but not have to give them admin access since the team is so large.

This is important for our use as well. We cannot currently share post publicly because some of our customers are confidential relationships.
If a customer posts and their name is revealed, then a customer from a different organization could see them, look them up on linked-in or another site, and identify the organization they work for.
I agree with Peach Leech that obscuring names would likely be a good move here.

This is done already, right? Sarah Hum

Due Crawdad: Not exactly, I think you're thinking about internal comments? This one is about not showing
user
comments to each other.D

Lots of apps (e.g. CRMs, Intercom) have the concept of a "note" (usually indicated with a yellow background) only for admins vs a "post" which will go to the user

I'd also like a setting that allowed me to show comments to other users but obscure their names.
