Internal comments are live for anyone on Canny Growth and above! You should now see a new tab in your admin comment composer. Check out our changelog for more info.

yess please. I'm using canny in a new way for internal communication. Can be super helpful.

Wooohooooo!!!

This will be wildly helpful. The only thing that would make this better is permission levels to control who can and can't see and post. We have this same feature in our support desk but it has happened where the support agent forgot to mark the note as private and not public. I am interested to see what this looks like.

Brilliant!

We're excited to start working on internal comments! They'll be a great way for your team to chat about requests behind the scenes. Let us know if you have additional thoughts while we build this out.
Melvyn Fiawo
Sarah Hum: please put this and this one on the starter paid plan. would sooo help me and my team scale up to growth.
Sarah Hum
Hi Melvyn Fiawo, the internal comments feature has been out now for a while. It is on our Growth plan though and that isn't likely to change anytime soon. Sorry!
Rory Colsell
This would be super useful. We would use this not only to leave notes/discuss with the team but to link to our github issues or project management tasks so all info is linked together nicely. We don't use Jira.

This is essential to our adoption of Canny
Josh Lamb
If I were to prioritize one new feature to ask for - this is it. Right now I have to bridge our bug tracking system with Canny and it is a manual and archaic process. Would strongly prefer to just have Canny as the single source of truth for all of our product updates. Bonus for you is that it increases our engagement with your product.

Thanks for escalating this Josh Lamb. We're excited about this one as well. Hoping to prioritize it soon!

Isn't this all solved if we integrate with Jira?
Andrew Rasmussen
Chris Poel: Potentially yep, but not all teams use Jira. It could also be a better experience to have everything in one place instead of spread across multiple tools.
