Add an extra layer of security to your Canny account with two-factor authentication (2FA).
For admins
Turn on 2FA anytime in your security preferences using any authenticator app. You'll also be offered setup at your next login. It's optional unless your team requires it.
For owners
- Require 2FA for every admin on your team in team settings
- If an admin loses access to their authenticator, reset their 2FA from the same page
Good to know
- End users aren't affected
- Teams using Okta, OIDC, or OneLogin skip 2FA since your identity provider already handles it
