Private boards are a great way to limit access to individual boards. For example, you may want to collect feedback specifically from:
- Paying customers
- VIP customers
- Internal teammates
- Beta testers
Canny now supports limiting access to boards based on a segment of users. This is really nice because it will continuously consider who has access to a board based on the data that you provide to Canny. For example, if your board is limited to a segment of paying customers, if someone is no longer paying, they will lose access to the board.
To set this up:
- Configure your user segments based on attributes you specify.
- Head to your board settings and limit board access to that segment
Private boards are available for teams on the Growth plan and above.
