Allow video attachments because sometimes a single photo isn't enough to explain the issue.

Would it be possible to increase the video upload limit for Cannys? Right now the 8MB cap makes it difficult to share short recordings that clearly demonstrate buggy behavior. Even a brief ~20-second video can exceed that limit, which makes troubleshooting and communicating issues more challenging.
Having the ability to upload slightly larger files would go a long way in helping us provide clearer context and faster feedback. Thanks for considering this!

Originally wanted to keep this one open to support video previews but Canny does support attaching videos. Check out this changelog entry for more details.
If you feel strongly about being able to watch videos directly in Canny, feel free to vote on this post.

We would love to add gif and videos, it is not possible and our changelog looks very static we want to create dynamic content

For now, this can be achieved with a link from Loom, YouTube, Wistia, and Vimeo.
Embedding a video requires markdown syntax. So you'll have to paste that URL as follows:

That will load videos in the changelog and in Canny posts/comments. Be sure there are no spaces, by the way! Learn more

Why is this not done yet? Seems like a very simple feature...

Dying for this feature, we're currently having to create the report in canny and in notion to be able to document the video of steps to reproduce
