I'd like to be able to communicate when a feature will be ready to use. Knowing that something is "in progress" is great, but will it be ready next week? Next month? Next year?
I suppose we could do this today via comments, but ideally it's part of the status update. Similar to https://feedback.canny.io/feature-requests/p/written-update-with-status-change.

Set better expectations with estimated dates! Any admin can specify an estimated month and year something will be available. You can also choose to share it publicly or keep it internal.

Hi everyone! We're considering adding an estimated date for posts.
You would be able to specify an estimated month and year that the feature would be available. You can choose whether you want the date to be available publicly or you can keep it internal.
Dates would be completely optional.
What do you think? Is there anything else that would be important to you regarding these estimated dates?

Andrew Rasmussen - We've added tags for different quarters (e.g. Q3 - 2018) but there's no real tag hierarchy. It'd be great to be able to add these and choose the option to expose it. Sometimes we would just want to track it internally, other times expose it to our users.

This would be great. Most of these are written in sand, so it'd be nice to be able to indicate longer term updates like Q3, Q4, etc.
