I would suggest having this show by default on all paid accounts but just put documentation on how to hide it with CSS or something. Most companies would just leave it but at least you have the option to remove it for companies that are paying and when it is a concern that it doesn't look professional for them to show this.

Hi all, thanks for your feedback. We know removing Powered By Canny is a popular request, so we’ve added it as an option to our Business tier. Reach out and our team is happy to put together a quote for you.
Powered by Canny is both great for us and for our customers who found us via that channel. Those customers were able to experience Canny as a user and then decide to bring it to their own company. For that reason, we’re not doing away with it completely. Hope that makes sense.

Sarah Hum: This should be available to all paid plans, not just Business. Other companies generally lock you into displaying their branding on free plans only.

Desperate Kite: I agree also

Furious Baboon
Sarah Hum: I agree with Peter. $200 dollars monthly isn't cheap to not have the self promotion removed.

If you do this, please, make sure to charge a HUGE fee to those fancy enterprise companies taking advantage of white-labeled beautiful products like yours

I am a supporter of not removing it. I think canny deserves some promotion. But maybe we can have another solution: I am willing to post on linkedin how awesome canny is. Just give me a pre-written share option in the admin area to post on linkedin in exchange for removing it? :) Let us know what we can do for you and you will have at least 175 promoters here. Make it valid for 6 months and you make us your marketing influencers.

Come on guys, this needs to be addressed. B2B companies can't have third party brands advertised within their own apps - it's super stressful/worrying for our end users.

Andrew Rasmussen do you guys have a response to this? It's the second highest voted feedback!

If I was using Canny for my own projects I wouldn't mind. In the context of the B2B application I'm using Canny for, it's not very professional to have it advertising third party platforms. Given that none of us are getting Canny for free I think this is a reasonable request!
The users of our product are most definitely not in the target market for Canny, so there isn't actually much to be gained from advertising to them, it's just another thing distracting them from giving feedback!

I feel this should only be there if you are using a freemium version under a certain threshold. I totally get why you do it, though feel it could hamper your income generation not increase it. A tool like Canny should appear to be part of the site not a third party ingratiation. We really like what you guys do there at Canny and am keen to support your growth.
We would be happy to pay a little more to remove "Powered by Canny" if you used the additional income for non organic acquisition might drive more growth then leaving "Powered by Canny" just a thought it may be worth modelling.

For those of us that used the javascript piece and embedded it, it would be nice to remove this. It should look and feel like ours as an embedded product. Calendly allows you to remove their logo on their higher tier plans but it remains on the freemium version.

I personally think you can keep the "Powered by Canny". Your product is great, you deserve some free promotion ;)
