Add a Recently Completed section to the Roadmap view to show posts that were recently marked as completed.

By default, the Canny public roadmap will display posts in the following statuses:
- Planned
- In Progress
- Complete
Once you post a changelog update, Canny assumes that completed posts will be announced there. So, the columns are changed to:
- Under Review
- Planned
- In Progress
Teams on Canny Growth and above can create custom statuses and specify which columns show up on the public roadmap.

If you have a mobile app, would be cool to have a field for version number so customers know what version they must be on to see the version. I can see this being used more than just on recently completed as well.

I strongly agree with this one. Let me tell you why... we are close to sharing our feedback page with our customers, but on first view our customers will not realise that we have completed lots of feedback requests. It just looks like feedback requests are piling up and nothing is getting done!
This is even true of canny's own feedback page! It looks like they have loads of feedback stacked up but don't act on any of it because there is no completed column.
It really does need a new column to show the items that have been completed.

I need to do monthly and annual reports to my supervisor on what has been accomplished and it is really difficult to use Canny for this since I can only sort by created date on posts and not completed/closed date on posts. Adding a Completed/Closed on date to the export functionality would do it for me. That date is captured somewhere already in Canny since you can see it in the post.

Hi Beige Anaconda, I see what you mean. On your public roadmap page the "completed" category is sorted by status change date, so you would be able to see items that have been completed most recently there. This might be a good workaround in the short-term.

Andrew Rasmussen: Thanks for your reply, but our public roadmap page has 3 columns; 'Under Review', 'Planned' and 'In Progress' - I don't think there is a way to change those categories. In fact it's an issue others have mentioned that Completed/Closed ideas no longer show on the Roadmap.

This is becoming more and more of an issue for us. Customers simply don't know what we recently completed because it's hidden from the roadmap view, and they aren't seeing the changelog because it's not obvious. Allowing users to manage the columns on their roadmap from the settings screen would be the best solution here. This needs to be addressed.

When I mark a post as completed, other users may miss that that functionality exists because they don't see the completed topic.

The ability to show a recently completed column and set a lookback period would be great and would eliminate a lot of reporting on what has been completed recently without the extra work of writing detailed changelogs
