User will receive Weekly News Email or Notification Email (someone reply to your post) from Canny. However, the links in Canny’s email currently redirect to the Canny subdomain, not the widget.

We use the 'Copy' link a lot when replying on customer support requests to link them to the appropriate feature request. Now we need to change 'https://inserve.canny.io' to 'https://idee.inserve.nl' (our custom domain) for every link we copy, otherwise they are not logged in. The same for the notification e-mails that are sent.
The custom domain feature seams to be implemented only half this way.

I just found out if I hit 'make primary' next to the custom domain the correct links ARE shown next to the copy button. So I guess this already works but people (including me) couldn't find this function?

Link emails to custom domain instead of Canny subdomain

Email updates currently point to the Canny subdomain. If teams have their primary custom domain set, use that URL instead.

Redirect Intercom links to custom domain/widget URL

Intercom messages are NOT redirecting to white-labeled DNS. From within the Intercom messenger, when we share a feedback with the customer, the deep link is for the xxx.canny.io instead of fedback.xx.com

The shown public link (with the copy button) should always show the custom domain.

The public link in the domain is NOT the custom domain link, it's subdomain.canny.io

Just to add to this, each of our clients has their own subdomain for our product, so it'd be great if we could define this at a per user basis.
Don't know what's best, maybe based on where the widget is embedded, or passed explicitly as a property into Canny render/identify, or if there's some way to specify from the admin page depending on which custom fields are sent across for the user!
We're planning to use SSO so the board will be fully embedded, and the email kinda pulls back the curtain by going to the standalone board!
