Default board behavior needs to change

I am not even a customer of Canny. I am a Go High Level customer who uses Canny every single day.
I have made maybe 15 feedback posts total. I have forgotten multiple times that the "board" or "category" or whatever exists. It feels completely separate when you're in the posting UI. It's off to the side and I have to go out of my way to remember it is even a thing.
Multiple times I've accidently made posts in the "Ads Reporting and Attribution" category even if nots not related at all. It's just Go High Levels first board that auto populates when you go to fill out a feedback request. I'm not a dumb human. This is just bad UI and bad design. Also guess what? You can't change the category after you've posted it.
Go to High Levels board and just look at the hundreds upon hundreds of miscategorized feature requests which will be lost to the Canny abyss. I can't imagine how annoying this is to sift through.
Something needs to change. Make us physically click a category button or something. Please and thanks.

- What would be your ideal process for selecting a category when posting feedback?
