We are just looking to have it as a visible column in the 'all ideas' view, as prior to groups and themes, we were using categories as a way to sort requests.

Makes sense, thanks Juniper Halibut. While I have you here, are you planning to replace your usage of categories and use groups instead? Or will you be using both?

Sarah Hum, we may use both. Our use is evolving over time as we explore what works for us.

Thanks for flagging this! You’re right that Category is a default field on posts, so it makes sense to have it available as a column option in the Ideas view. We'll let you know when we have an update here.
