Right now it's only possible to link a post to an open issue on Github. It makes sense that the search only shows open issues, but it would be great if it were possible to attach a closed issue if the specific issue id is provided.

This fits the scenario wherein a post is completed, but someone forgot to attach the issue. We'd still like to document the issue, however, but it's not currently possible without re-opening the issue.
