Add ability to customize and turn off Admin statuses, similar to Public statuses

I want the ability to turn off certain statuses that are not needed in the Admin view, similar to how this feature works for Public statuses. I would also be nice to change the wording or customize for options that are not there such as Accepted, Rejected, etc.
