Ability for Admin to Link "Related Posts"
Audrey Ashraf
Oftentimes, we see posts that are of a similar nature or theme, but they may be fundamentally different enough that it's not appropriate to merge.
When we're elevating the voice of the customer with our P&E partners, it would be extremely helpful if we could export a post along with all linked/related posts as a batch rather than finding similar posts one at a time. While often similar posts will surface under the same keyword search, there are times where the unique keywords used make a similar post more difficult to track down if the exact right keywords aren't used.
From the agent(our customer) end, it would be great if we could show them the related posts when viewing an existing one. Their search may not have surfaced the perfect feedback right away, but this would offer them links to other similar posts that may resonate better.

Yes, yes, yes. As a product manager I am always using Jira's Linked Issues and want to do that same thing in Canny for organization purposes. Especially if I am going to push to Jira. Even better would be that I could choose to push to Jira and auto-establish relationships in Jira as well based on the link that was established in Canny.

Jira's 'Link an Issue' feature has this functionality.

Hi Audrey, thanks for the feedback! We would actually recommend using tags for this purpose. From there, it's really easy to filter to posts with a specific tag and export that list. Does that solution work for you?
Audrey Ashraf
Sarah Hum: Hi Sarah!
Tags would be similar, but don't quite accomplish what I'm looking for. Within any given tag (we have a tag for each tool), there are an array of posts requesting anything related to the tool in question. The proposition of a Related Post would be more granular in that the posts that are considered related would likely share the same tags, but they will be even more specific in the theme of the feedback matching that of another.

Audrey Ashraf: I am in the same boat :)

Sarah Hum: I noticed that tags are available as well, and feel the same as Audrey about them. They are great for organizing, but that is only helpful from an admin perspective. What if I want my customers to have the ability to notice similar tickets/cards and upvote on those as a natural way of building value of similar tickets into a sprint. (based on high votes on each related ticket/card)
