Dropdown menus don't always render correctly in widget

In the widget, when no posts are returned based on the filters that have been set, the 'showing' and 'in' drop-downs are cut off by their parent container and it's not possible to see/select all options.

Can you provide the specific steps to reproduce the issue you're experiencing with the dropdown menus?
Does this issue occur across all browsers or is it specific to one?
Does the issue persist even after clearing your browser cache or trying in incognito mode?
